It was always our intention to share our favorite places to eat here on this site. Unfortunately, we have not done a very good job at that. But we are going to fix that starting today!
Our favorite spot in Downtown Lexington has become Fable Charcuterie. It is located inside of Harvey’s Bar on the corner of W. Main & S. Upper Streets. If you can’t find us on a Friday evening, there is a good chance we are hanging out at Fable. Lauren, the owner, is amazing (as are her boards)! We never leave hungry and it is always a pleasure getting to catch up with Lauren. We’ve even hung out with her mom.
Like I said, Lauren is amazing—her care and attention to detail shine through in every board she creates.
Fable is an absolute must-try if you’ve never been there! They have a mini-board that is enough for a snack and huge boards big enough for a party. Whatever you get, you are in for a treat! These boards are always packed with top-notch meats, cheeses, fruits, and a solid selection of breads or crackers. They will even take special requests and always seem to have something new for us to try. We have discovered several new cheeses that we love. Like I said, Lauren is amazing—her care and attention to detail shine through in every board she creates. If you’re looking for a charcuterie experience that’s sure to impress, Fable is where you want to be!
