On Friday October 14th, Zack closed on his very first home! Over the last year or so, he has looked at several houses in and around Paris and just kept coming back to this one. It is a small 2 bedroom that is in serious need of some love. We were actually able to get in about a week before to start doing some demolition.
It’s going to be a ton of work, as we are going to tear it everything out down to the studs. So it will be a brand new house for him. Here is list of some of the things we are going to do:

- New Plumbing
- New Windows
- New Hardi-Board Siding
- New Paint
- New Trim
- New Interior Doors
- New Kitchen
- New Bath
- New Driveway
- New Front & Back Doors
We can’t wait to share the ideas he has to upgrade this house. It will be a showplace once it is finished. His goal is to be moved in by Derby Day. I think it will be way sooner than that.
I’m not sure who will enjoy it more, me or him. I look forward to spending time with him as we turn this little old house into a home.
